About the Event
At SAWS inaugural book club, we will discuss the book "Spring," by Ali Smith (2019).
Ali Smith was born in Inverness in 1962. She has written many books and has been shortlisted four times for the Man Booker Prize. Spring is the third book in her Seasonal Quartet. The three main character's lives intersect in Scotland and explore themes of post-Brexit Britain: borders and enclosures, connection and isolation, and renewal and hope.
This event is open to all and is a perfect opportunity for those looking to find out more about SAWS and meet members.
