About the Event
Hosted by the Celtic Society of Southern Maryland (CSSM) the Southern Maryland Celtic Festival kicks off its 44th year of celebrating all things Celtic this Saturday, 23 April at 10:00 AM. Held along the Patuxent River on the grounds of the Jefferson Patterson State Park and Museum, this one-day festival features Celtic foods, music, dance, craft demonstrations, re-enactments and a bustling marketplace filled with Celtic goods. Highland athletes, rugby teams, pipers and dancers will compete throughout the day. In short, there is something for everyone!
